Parents & Community
dben general meeting
Taking inspiration from the popular Trinidad and Tobago/Caribbean term 'Lime' meaning “a gathering” or “to hang out". Our Lime (aka socials) are an opportunity for members to connect, unwind and socialize. These informal gatherings are open to DDSB employees, parents and community members to share their daily experiences and perhaps build friendships across the system.
Often black educators are alone in a school and by coming together, they can unite with others and realize they are not alone. This allows for opportunities to de-stress and improve well-being.
