The DBEN Afrocentric Program Fall Term will start on Saturday September 12, 2026.
The program has 100 elementary students enrolled for Term 1.

Program Dates: September 12 to December 12, 2026
Program Time: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
On our first day, Saturday, September 12, we ask that students arrive at 9:30 a.m. to allow time for students to get settled and receive their program uniforms.
Please send your child with a labelled, refillable water bottle each Saturday.
Staff Meet and Greet
On September 30th, the Day of Truth and Reconciliation, DBEN will be hosting its annual meet and greet. It will be a chance to reconnect with old friends, make some new ones and learn about all of the great things DBEN has planned for the upcoming school year.

The Ambassador Leadership Program 2026-2027
2026-2027 will be the 14th year of this Leadership Program. The Ambassador program allows students to develop and hone their leadership skills, meet new friends from across the region and have several awesome opportunities and experiences as part of a new Community. Over 350 DDSB high school students who identify as Black have gone through this program, and we look forward to another exciting group joining our returning 10 students this Fall.
